Juan Felipe Porta, Intellectual Property Department Coordinator, is a Lawyer and Licensed Intellectual Property Agent. He specializes in Intellectual Property Law and strategic and comprehensive counseling with an interdisciplinary perspective for the management and protection of intangible assets. He has wide experience in Customs Law, Tax Law, Administrative Law, Regulatory Law, Corporate Law and Contracts. He is member of the following associations: International Trademark Association (INTA); Anti-Piracy Committee; Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI); Patents Committee; International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI); Argentine Association of Industrial Property Agents (AAAPI); and the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires (CPACF). He attended the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property at Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires, which was lectured in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Argentine Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). He also attended the intensive Postgraduate course in Customs Law in the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and the Project Management Program of the CEMA University. His prior experience includes working in the Administrative and Mining Law Departament of the Law Firm Brons & Salas and in the Litigation Department of the Law Firm Gowland & Asociados. He is proficient in Spanish and English.
