John Ryan-Lussich, Managing Partner of the Law Firm, coordinates the Economic Criminal Law and Foreign Exchange Law Department. He specializes in Customs Law, Anti-Piracy, Economic Criminal Law and Pharma-Intelligence. He has wide experience in the design of strategies for the protection of Intellectual Property Law through customs offices of different Latin American countries. He has a distinctive and strong background in Research and Prevention of Intellectual Property Rights Infringements. In 1991 he graduated as a Lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires and he afterwards complemented his studies at the University of Columbia, USA. He has attended the II and III Congress on Customs Regulations, the II International Conference on Customs Law and he is an active member of the Forum for the Prevention of Trademark Fraud in Customs. He is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the Intellectual Property Owners (IPO) and the International Agreements and Trade Committee. He is also member of the Institute of Customs Law of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires, the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires, the Bar Association of the Province of Buenos Aires and he is registered in the Federal Courts of Appeals of San Martín. He is proficient in Spanish and English.
